It often seems to me that there is less and less in the daily papers to smile at; however, good things are there even if we have to dig a little deeper for them. A recent paper had a lovely photo of a smiling lady working in a Calgary toy store during the Christmas rush. Nothing new there, of course, except that this lovely lady was 90 years old! My earliest memory is of sitting on the couch, cuddled to my Mother (the TB must have been in remission at that point) while Daddy set up the Christmas tree. This completed, the crowning moment came.
