Do you remember when we were young that our parents were strict with rules and discipline and our grandparents were the ones who spoiled us? Not any more, according to most of our friends who have regular dealings with their grandchildren. They are all complaining that they have to lay down the rules and enforce the discipline when left in charge - the parents just let the kids have total freedom with no responsibility or consequences. This is not what zoomer grandparents were looking forward to!

Simple things like not playing those video game things at the table. You see kids glued to these pocket toys even in restaurants. What happened to conversation?
