The museum was opened November 11th, 1999 through the generosity of the Kelowna City Council & the citizens of the Okanagan Valley. It’s located on the upper floor of the Memorial Arena. A home for the many thousands of artifacts donated by the past and present members of Canada’s Armed Forces of the Okanagan Valley.

- a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and assisting individuals to research and compile their own family histories. It operates a library of genealogical reference material in the Penticton Museum building
